Ctrl Center

Ctrl Center is a rogue anti-spyware application. It is a new clone of the rogue malware applications Privacy Center. Ctrl Center is usually either secretly installed onto your computer by a trojan such as Vundo trojan or intentionally downloaded by the user (thinking it is some helpful program). Once installed, Ctrl Center "scans" user's system and displays exaggerated results. Additionally, Ctrl Center displays annoying pop-up windows and fake system alerts stating that computer is infected or is under attack. Ctrl Center tries to scare the user into purchasing the "full" version of the fake program.
