This RAT program was created with SennaSpy Trojan Generator. The origination date is April 2001. The prime function of a RAT program is allowing the hacker to gain unauthorized access to user’s PC. The program usually consists of two parts: the “server” and the “client”. The first part embeds itself in victim’s machine, opens a random port and awaits commands. The “client” is installed on hacker’s PC add allows him to connect and control the infected PC. Hackers often use such programs combined with “trojans” and “backdoors” to make them more effective. The infection peaked in the United States.

The author of this RAT is a hacker called ThE WaRriOr AnGelS. It was written in Visual C++. Several variants appeared from May 2001 to august 2001. The main purpose of this program is virtual hooliganism, but however it can also steal files from the infected machine. This newer version also includes such functions as Trojan and "backdoor". They help the virus to infiltrate the system and stay unnoticed for a long period of time.

This pest was written using Visual Basic programming language. A Remote Administration Tool is a special kind of hacker spyware, used for remote access and control of other people’s computers. The attacker infects the PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. A “server” allows him to connect via a “client” on his own machine. The "server" opens a default port 33333 and awaits hacker commands. This virus affects Windows 95 and 98 operational systems. The author is a hacker called Shadow. The date of origination is March 1999.
