Description: Antivirus Soft, also known as AntivirusSoft is a rogue anti-spyware application. It is a clone of such rogue malware applications as Antivirus Live, Antivirus System Pro, System Guard 2009 and Spyware Protect 2009. Antivirus Soft is usually either secretly installed onto your computer by a trojan such as Vundo trojan or intentionally downloaded by the user (thinking it is some helpful program). Once installed, Antivirus Soft pretends to scans user's system and displays exaggerated results. Additionally, Antivirus Soft displays annoying pop-up windows and fake system alerts stating that computer is infected or is under attack. Antivirus Soft tries to scare the user into purchasing the "full" version of the fake program.

Step 1: Restart your computer in Safe Mode with Networking. To go into Safe Mode, restart your PC normally and start tapping the F8 key until you are presented with DOS style options.
